We want every customer to feel the build is fair, even if things don't work out. This page sets out exactly when and how refunds are issued by Agentic Builds. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. 14-day cancellation right (and your express consent)
Our packages are bespoke digital services that we begin as soon as payment is received. By completing checkout you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day cancellation right that would otherwise apply to distance contracts with consumers under EU/Irish law. After that, the refund rules below apply.
2. Website build packages
Each package includes a non-refundable setup & deposit fee equal to 30% of the package price. This covers the discovery call, intake review, project planning, design kick-off and any third-party costs already incurred (e.g. domains, stock imagery, paid plugins).
If you cancel before final delivery / site handover:
- You receive a refund equal to:
amount paid − 30% non-refundable deposit − any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf. - You are free to take the project brief elsewhere; any work-in-progress design files remain our property until paid for in full.
After final delivery / site handover: the build fee is non-refundable. We will of course fix any defects in our work at no charge under our standard warranty.
3. Maintenance subscriptions
- You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation stops future billing.
- We do not refund the current month on a pro-rata basis — your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Cancelling the Premium maintenance plan pauses your hosted site at the end of the period (see Terms § 8). We will provide an export of your site on request so you can migrate it.
4. Failed payments
If a subscription payment fails, Stripe will retry automatically over a short window. Persistent failure may result in suspension of hosting/maintenance until the balance is cleared. No refund is due in respect of any period of suspension caused by non-payment.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us first at hello@agenticbuilds.ie if something has gone wrong — we resolve almost every issue without involving the card network. Opening a chargeback before contacting us may delay your refund.
6. How to request a refund
- Email hello@agenticbuilds.ie with your order email and the Stripe session/receipt ID.
- We confirm the eligible amount under sections 2 or 3 above.
- Approved refunds are processed via Stripe to the original payment method within 14 days. Your bank may take a few additional working days to display the credit.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish or EU law, including the right to a remedy where services are not provided with reasonable skill and care.
