GDPR

Plain-English GDPR statement: controller and processor roles, your rights, sub-processors and data requests.

Agentic Builds is based in Galway, Ireland, and follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts. This page explains how, in plain English. For the full detail of what we collect, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Our two roles

  • Controller — for people who visit this site, book a call, send an enquiry or talk to our chat assistant. We decide what is collected and why.
  • Processor — when an automation or website we build handles your customers' or staff's data. You stay the controller; we only act on your instructions.

2. Data processing agreements

If a project means we will handle personal data on your behalf, we sign a data processing agreement (DPA) with you before work starts. Ask for one at any time.

3. How we handle data

  • We collect only what a job needs, and delete it when it is no longer needed.
  • Our own site data is hosted in the EU, encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Access is limited to the person doing the work.
  • Client data is not used to train AI models.
  • Where a tool processes data outside the EU, we use providers covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

4. Sub-processors

  • Lovable Cloud — website hosting, database and email delivery.
  • Google — calendar for booking calls.
  • AI model providers — the on-site chat assistant.

Tools used inside a client project are listed in that project's DPA.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of your data (access)
  • correct it (rectification)
  • delete it (erasure)
  • limit how we use it (restriction)
  • send it to you or another provider (portability)
  • stop using it (objection), including for any marketing
  • withdraw consent you have given, at any time

6. Making a request

Email hello@agenticbuilds.ie. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We respond within one month, free of charge.

7. Data breaches

If a breach affects personal data, we notify the Data Protection Commission within 72 hours where required, and tell affected clients without undue delay.

8. Complaints

You can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie. We'd welcome the chance to fix it first.
