Two LEO grants cover up to 50% of a project like ours: the Trading Online Voucher and the newer Grow Digital Voucher. Most Irish small businesses qualify for at least one. Here is what they cover, who qualifies, and how to apply.
Grant 1
Trading Online Voucher
50% match, max €2,500. You spend €5,000, LEO refunds €2,500.
Who qualifies
- Trading 6+ months
- Fewer than 10 employees
- Annual turnover under €2m
- Registered in the LEO's county
Best fit
Websites with a transactional element — bookings, Stripe payments, or an online shop. Brochure sites with no online selling don't qualify. Every project is quoted after a free 20-minute call.
Grant 2
Grow Digital Voucher
50% match, max €5,000. You spend €10,000, LEO refunds €5,000.
Who qualifies
- Up to 50 employees
- Trading in Ireland
- Demonstrable digital growth plan
- One voucher per business
Best fit
Off-the-shelf digital software subscriptions. It doesn't fund custom website builds, so check what's eligible with your LEO before you plan around it. Every project is quoted after a free 20-minute call.
Process
How to apply (it's quick)
- 01
Book a free 20-minute call so we can understand the project.
- 02
We send you a written quote and a short scope document — what LEO call the “supplier proposal”.
- 03
You apply on your LEO's portal (or growdigitalgrant.ie for GDV) with the supplier quotes they ask for — the Trading Online Voucher needs three.
- 04
Wait for approval before any work starts. Once approved, we build; LEO refunds you after the project is delivered and claimed.
